Standardised Tests-

Information for Parents

The children undergo Standardised Drumcondra Test in May of each year from 1st – 6th Class in Math, Irish and English.   In Senior Infants – the MIST- Middle Infant Screening Test (English) and Drumcondra (Irish) Test is carried out. These tests are extremely helpful as they make comparisons between the child’s score and the national average. The table below may be of assistance in explaining your child’s STEN score in Maths, Irish and English as per school report. You may speak with class teacher should you have any concerns.
